ALPHA BAH ESQ
Education
Bachelor of Arts (University of Sierra Leone – Class of 2006), LLB Hons. (University of Sierra Leone – Class of 2011), Barrister-at-Law Degree (Sierra Leone Law School – Class of 2012), Diploma in Human Resource Development & International Business Communication (Institute of Commercial Management (ICM) 2007).
Mr. Bah is the Head of Chambers and is a well-respected member of the Sierra Leone Bar Association. He is a part-time tutor in the Law of Contract at Imat College, a teaching institution of University of London in Sierra Leone which trains students for the Bachelor of Laws.
As head of chambers, Mr. Bah has acquired great experience having practiced law in Sierra Leone for over 8 years after being called to the Bar in 2012. He was an Associate in the Chambers of the Melron C. Nicol-Wilson Esq. (who was the Ombudsman of the Republic of Sierra Leone) between 2012 and 2015. In 2012, Mr. Bah also worked as Legal Assistant at the Special Court for Sierra Leone, where he served as assistant to Counsel representing Hassan Papa Bangura in the case of The Independent Prosecutor vs. Hassan Papa Bangura and 3 others.
Mr. Bah has served as expert in juvenile justice and its administration and was Consultant to Defence for Children International, Sierra Leone section between 2013 and 2015.
As recent as April 2020, Bah & Co. Solicitors was awarded by the Office of the Administrator & Registrar-General for Structured Presentation of Registrable Instruments.
Furthermore, Mr. Bah has served and continues to serve on several Boards, including the Board of Governors for Sierra Leone Muslim Union for over five years.
As Legal Practitioner, Mr. Bah has served as role model to many fledgling barristers and solicitors in Sierra Leone, all of whom respect him highly. He has mentored and supported them always.
